With being a mom I have not been able to use my small purses and have just put them in the cupboard. Addie loves getting them out and putting them on her shoulder to tote around. She also love wearing bracelets, it does not matter how many you hand her she will put them on and play with them. It think it is the cutest thing watching her walk around acting like a little diva.
Addie is getting very active in climbing up onto or into many different things. I bought this pail for her toys but as you can see they have many different uses.

More proof that Addie is a girl. Here she is putting on here mom's shoes. Aaron is getting a little weary of what being a girl is going to do to your check book, but I know he is going to love everything she does also.
So as you know we are working on the NEVER ENDING LIST of what needs to be done on our home. This summer we are working on redoing our front yard and if we have time our back yard also. On a Saturday while Aaron was tearing out the old sprinkler system I decided I would be helpful and start using the rototiller. I went two feet and had to stop because my arms were burning with having to hold the rototiller in place. I told Aaron "I wish that there was a way to tie myself to rototiller so it wont pull my arms off", seconds later he come out with a tow strap and proceeded to strap me in. Here is some pictures of what a great engineer I married.
In about 5 hours we did the right section in the picture. So we might just do the front yard with the time it is taking us to rototill.

Addie loves her Daddy's glasses, she will take them off Aaron's head and try to put them on herself.
Addie and I let Daddy sleep in one morning, after he woke up we played on the bed for a while. Addie loves finding chairs that are just her size, this time it was her Daddy's head.
A ball rolled under the bench and I thought that I would have to get it, but Addie decided to crawl under the bench and get it instead.
Memorial Weekend Fun 
For Memorial weekend we roofed my mom's house. Addie is having a blast riding the horse with Matthew. I can just see her saying "Look mom no hands".

Matthew also received his Eagle Scout award during Memorial weekend so we were able to attend and see him get it. Sorry that we don't have pictures of the event it self Matt. Here is Tyson holding Quinn up to touch the basketball net. I can see here being in the WNBA some day.
Memorial Day Motorbike Ride 
Brandon, Tyson, Matt and I decided that we would get a motorbike ride in before we had to leave. With only an hour to ride we decided that we would go up to loan pine and back. We have been on this trail so many times that I could probably do it with my eyes close you would think. Due to the rain each year the trail changes depending on where the streams appear. There is a place that always has a puddle that is only a couple inches deep, we were all thinking that it was normal but it was defiantly not. Due to the rain, trucks, and motorbikes the puddle had changed from a couple inches deep to about a foot to a foot and half, so as you can see we all ended up very wet. We also had to go through it twice, once on the way up there and once on the way back. Tyson and Brandon just willied over the second time, but since I can't seem to figure out how to willie, and Matt is on a smaller bike we ended up VERY muddy.
Matt's goggles were still muddy from the Salt Flats ride so he did not wear them. This is what happens when you don't have eye protection ...............

This mudd is the worst thing for cloths. It took my mom two washes and three rinses to get it out of jerseys and pants. I on the other had did not have the same success. I was wearing my g's, tank top, a shirt and jersey; the mudd went all the way down the skin. My shirt and tank top now are tie dyed with mud, I washed, washed some more and let it soak and it would not come out. So know I have a new work shirt and tank top.
Aaron was even daring to kiss my dirty face. What can I say I have a sexy hubby.

California Trip
We had the great opportunity of having Aaron's dad come with us down to California for Peter's wedding. On the way down we stopped at Cove Fort to eat lunch and let Addie run around for a while. Here is Opa and Addie going for a walk.

Because the original trees in the fort are so old they have to put support beam so the branches wont fall and hurt someone. Addie is taking a rest on one of these support beams.
For our trip I bought some yummy mint oreos (if you have not tried them, it is a must). The oreos ended up being Addie's favorite snack. I decided to tell Addie have a whole oreo, it ended up everywhere. So this picture is the cleaning up of such a great wonderful snack.

then little by little she started to like it. She did not even cry when Aaron did not pick her up high enough and so her back got soaked. We did not think that we would get wet and so we did not put her swimming suit on, little did we know that she would be wearing her suit for the rest of the night instead of her cloths because of our mistake. Next time we will know better.

Addie is getting be be quite the adventurous little girl. It seems like every other day I am finding her in a new place or doing something new. While I cook dinner Addie loves to explore the kitchen cabinets and drawers, here she is in the pots and pans cabinet playing hide and seek.
I also love the new expressions that I am getting from Addie. Addie was getting quite impatient with not being able to see and hold the camera.
Addie loves bracelets. She will put the bracelets on her arm and walks around with them on her arm or in her mouth.
She also loves Aaron's trick sticks and will walk around using them like a cane. Here is the first time using both the stick and bracelets at the same time. When she put the stick on the ground to walk around her bracelets stared to fall off, so she picked the stick back up but the bracelets were still on the stick so she put the stick back down and one bracelet fell off. Addie was like oh no and proceeded to pick up the bracelet off the ground while loosing the other bracelets onto the ground. She then proceeded to pick the the bracelets up one by one. After doing this process couple of times she finally figured how to hold all the bracelets in one hand and the stick in the other. It is the cutest thing to watch her little mind figure things out.
Here is my mom with Addison and Brayden (new cousin). Addie loves to hold and give her little cousin Brayden hugs and kisses. Addie loves him so much that when she was holding Brayden he started to cry so my Mom took him out of her arms to bounce him, Addie immediately grabbed Brayden around his tummy and guide him back to her lap. In order to let both Brayden and Addie be happy I had to bribe her with snacks and with a little bit of tears she finally allow my Mom to take him off her lap.
Each night while undressing Addie to get her into her pj's Aaron finds new ways to have fun with Addie. So one night Aaron took her sock off with his teeth and they decided to have a tug a war with it in there mouths.
Since about January we have been looking for a hiking backpack for Addie so we could go hiking, since we were not having any luck with finding a used one in Salt Lake I had my sister Amy look down in Houston to find us one there. When we got it Aaron and Addie had to try it out. Addie loves it so much that when uwe took her out she starts climbing into it again, we finally just had to deal with some tears and put the pack away. We are extremely excited to use it the beginning of July. Thank You Amy!
It is truly amazing what kids learn by just their parents example. Aaron and I love using our head phones on our cell phones so we can can talk and do other things at the same time. Addie one day surprised us by putting the ear phones into her ears and started to dance when she heard Aaron's phone playing music.
