Motorbiking and Lots of Fun!

So about 3 months ago I decided to start working on Addie's room. So here is one of the project that I did in with wood letters. Cute huh!

I have to admit that sometimes my pictures just do not mind me. When I pull up the picture it looks right but when I post the picture it looks like this. Here is Addie looking at flowers, her favorite thing.

One day as the dish washer was going through I hear Addie all of a sudden say "Oh no" I turn around to look and see suds seeping out of the bottom of the dishwasher. I turned to tell Aaron that our dishwasher was broken and he looked to me and said that it was his fault. We had been having trouble with this white chalky residue on our dishes and Aaron decided that he would fill the dishwasher with joy dish detergent. HE HE HE HE HE!!! I laughed my head off, it was so funny. Well after three rinses and one load of regular detergent we were able to get the washer back to normal.

Yep it is that time of year again, the biannual Salt Flat trip. Quinn and Becca were not able to come this year because of a rash but Ty brought Quinn's little four wheeler. Addie loved playing on it and even went down the trailer ramp.

Golden Spike and Spiral Jetty

Today we had a great adventure with our neighbors and friends the Lukers. We drove out to the golden spike to see the trains.

Here we are in front of the Jupiter, the Central Railroad car. Addie is really interested in other things.

Here is the Spiral Jetty! A really cool place with LOTS and LOTS of BUGS (in May)!

Addie was having tons of fun with Eldon and Grant climbing on the rocks. The only down fall was she ended up with about 30 bites from these little annoying black bugs.

And of course you can't have a trip anywhere without seeing one of our favorite little creature....a snake (ha ha Just Kidding I really don't like those things) was crossing the road when we were leaving the spiral jetty.

I put Addie down for a nap wearing some brown pants (that Addie really does not like) and I went up stairs to see this, Addie in pink pants. We thought it was cute that they were on backwards! It is something we are working on.

So in April Aaron and I took a cruise from LA to Catalina Island and then down to Ensenada, Mexico. Here is our boat, the Carnival Paradise in dock at Long Beach.

These were the 'boat tenders' the harbor was not deep enough for the ship to dock in, so little boats came from the dock to the boat and ferried people back and forth.

Aaron thought that it was funny that our boat driver had a bear on the tip jar that looked liked the driver.

This is the Casino Building in Avalon. Easily the most recognizable structure.

These guys were everywhere. Along with a bunch of hermit crabs.

Apparently a few boats didn't make the sun bathed shores of Catalina island the easy way.

We decided to go hiking around and found an endless staircase.

Looking down from the top of the endless staircase, there were some beautiful little vines with flowers on them.

Hiking up a steep incline. There were really small garages as the main transportation in the city of Avalon was via golf cart. Not much garage needed for not much car.

An Aligator in our Stateroom! Oh My. Yes even the cruise staff invents little towel animals for us.

The freakin' biggest flag you ever did see. Yes those are people standing around the base of it! I think Mexico is pretty excited about their heritage or something.

Here is the La Bufadora. It was kind of hard to see the blowhole it's self but we got to see the water and mist coming out.


This used to be a Casino hall back in the day but now Mexico has banned gambling and it is just a nice little place to tour and shop.

Here are some of the animals that they make on the ship. They even taught us some animals, so don't be surprised when we stay at your house if you have a little animal when we leave.

Home again in port at Long Beach! We would defiantly do a cruise again!!!! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Veronica and Peter picked us up at the port and took us to the space observatory in LA.
