Breakfast in bed with Addie

Lately Addie has been waking up at about 6:30 or 7 and Aaron and I have been teaching her that it is still "night time" until 7 a.m. Today was no different, Addie woke up at 6:20 a.m. saying "Mom all done with bed" I then preceded to take her to the potty, get a drink and then showed her that the clock was not yet 7 and it was time to go back to bed. I put her back into bed and go back into my room and almost get back to sleep when I hear Addie getting up again, I looked at the clock 6:54 a.m. I know that she is not going back to bed. She comes in and I put her horse and 3 blankets on the bed and I pull her up. After "pretending" to be asleep she hops up and pull the blinds open. Addie then decided that it was time for breakfast and said "Stay her mom, I am getting a yogurt" in which I reply "Addie you are not eating a yogurt in moms bed". I hear some rustling down stairs and hear the silverware drawer open and close and then Addie's little feet coming up the stairs. Aaron hollers down to eat the yogurt at the table, but we still hear her coming. Addie then walks in with three yogurts and three spoons, yep you guessed it Addie brought us breakfast in bed. How can we turn down a little cutie from having some fun. This is going to be on the top 10 of my list for being the best breakfasts in bed. So that is what brightened my morning, seeing my little cutie serving others and being the independent little cutie that I love. How was your morning?

Best of Times!

One morning we woke to snow, Addie and I decided that we where going to shovel off the walks and make a snowman. After the first one who became "daddy" Addie decided that we needed a "mommy" and "Addie". Here are our family of snowmen.

This was perfectly safe believe me, I was resting on the couch being very still and daddy was just at arms reach.

We have a membership to a fun kids play place called Discovery Gateway and we use it all the time.

Addie's EEG

So last Friday, January 27 Addie had another seizure. As most of you know this is her second one. With the first seizure I have to admit that I kind of freaked out, but with this one I was mostly under control and I felt so much better know what to do and what to do next. We made another appointment with the Pediatric Neurology with Primary Children's and had that appointment today. While we were there we were scheduled for an EEG and then if that is abnormal we will then have an MRI done. Here are some pictures of Addie having fun getting ready for her EEG.

She did amazing! I only had to take her to the bathroom once and we were able to use many books, sing songs, look at pictures for my camera, and just some fun talking to keep her occupied. We won't get the results for a week or so, but I will let you all know.
