I put Addie down for a nap wearing some brown pants (that Addie really does not like) and I went up stairs to see this, Addie in pink pants. We thought it was cute that they were on backwards! It is something we are working on.

My Cutie of a daughter which bring so much joy and happiness into my life.

So in April Aaron and I took a cruise from LA to Catalina Island and then down to Ensenada, Mexico. Here is our boat, the Carnival Paradise in dock at Long Beach.

Getting on board the boat.

Our dainty little room.

Leaving the port.

On our way to Catalina Island.

These were the 'boat tenders' the harbor was not deep enough for the ship to dock in, so little boats came from the dock to the boat and ferried people back and forth.

This is how we got from the boat to the island.

Aaron thought that it was funny that our boat driver had a bear on the tip jar that looked liked the driver.

Aaron looking around the tide pools for crabs and other fun little sea animals.

This is the Casino Building in Avalon. Easily the most recognizable structure.

A comfortable little beach just north of the Casino Building

These guys were everywhere. Along with a bunch of hermit crabs.

Apparently a few boats didn't make the sun bathed shores of Catalina island the easy way.

Here we are together on the beach.

We decided to go hiking around and found an endless staircase.

Looking down from the top of the endless staircase, there were some beautiful little vines with flowers on them.

Hiking up a steep incline. There were really small garages as the main transportation in the city of Avalon was via golf cart. Not much garage needed for not much car.

Our ship from a lookout point above the city of Avalon

An Aligator in our Stateroom! Oh My. Yes even the cruise staff invents little towel animals for us.

The freakin' biggest flag you ever did see. Yes those are people standing around the base of it! I think Mexico is pretty excited about their heritage or something.

Some beautiful views from the cliffs on the way to La Bufadora

The road to La Bufadora (the Blowhole).
Here is the La Bufadora. It was kind of hard to see the blowhole it's self but we got to see the water and mist coming out.

This used to be a Casino hall back in the day but now Mexico has banned gambling and it is just a nice little place to tour and shop.

Here is a frog that they made out of towels.

I got my prince!

Here are some of the animals that they make on the ship. They even taught us some animals, so don't be surprised when we stay at your house if you have a little animal when we leave.

Here are what Addie would say as "Doggies".

Also our elephants!

The Master Ice Carver showing us his stuff.

It turned out to be an Indian Chief. Sorry we don't have a better picture.

Home again in port at Long Beach! We would defiantly do a cruise again!!!! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Veronica and Peter picked us up at the port and took us to the space observatory in LA.

Here are all of us. Sorry that it is upside down. I inserted all the pictures and did not notice it was upside down until I was done and decided I was not doing the whole post again.

View of LA

Peter and Veronica

Aaron and I having fun.

Aaron and I with the Hollywood sign in the background.

They had a rhetorical scale in the observatory. The big mark is us making our own earthquake by jumping.

Here is Aaron getting his nose picked by Einstein.

What is Missing?

Have you ever had that feeling like everything is going great but something is missing? Well I have felt that way for a long long time. Aaron and I have been talking about what kind of hobbies I should pick up to fill that void, but every time I think about it my mind comes up blank. I was really getting kind of depressed with always having this feeling. I kept on asking myself if going back to school would help but that even gave me even a more horrible feeling. Well I have finally found what can fill that void.....Woodworking! That is right I have found this AMAZING blog that has free patterns to many different thinks that will be easy to make. So I will have a great time making things and also it will help make our house more of a home. So here is a list of things that I am going to do.

1. Refinish a chest of drawers for Addie's room.
2. Do our bathroom vanity.
3. Build a mantel for a fireplace.
4. Build a head board for Addie's room.

I will make sure I take pictures and keep you up on my new found HAPPINESS!

Lassig Everyday Life!

I was doing dishes and Addie was playing in the cabinet next to me when I looked down to see this between me and Addie......Fred the snake!!!!!! Needless to say I ended up screaming my head off and Addie freaked out with me. Now Addie keeps on saying "snake scare me" well I think it was actually me screaming at the snake that made her scared. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to be calm and take care of the snake. Owell maybe next time I will have the sense to stay calm!

We were watching secretariat one night as a family when Addie got on here horse and started riding her around.

One night as we were eating dinner all of a sudden we here a sound and then smelled something burnt, after replacing the light bulb we had the same thing happen the next day. We now had cause to go to our favorite store Home Depot, here is the new one we bought.

Addie loves putting buckets on her head and walking around just looking at the floor.

You are probably wondering what my slippers are doing with my high heals in them. Well amazingly enough Addie was walking around in them, when I pulled out the camera she got out of them to come look at the camera.

So in March we had some fun things to celebrate. Addie turning 2nd and Aaron and my 3rd anniversary. Here is the cake that I made for Addie.

Singing Happy Birthday to Addie!

The rainbow cake!

Aaron's family and Jen and Brain come to celebrate the big day.

Addie loved her cake! As she would say "YUMMY".

Closer look.

Addie got some pretty cool presents this year; dresses, coloring books, chalk, books, camp chair, snail toy, and a scooter.

Plus an apron from Grandma Allen! She is coming after me trying to look at the camera. She finally let me take her CHEESY face picture.

Aaron was getting packed up to head back to Salt Lake after a fun weekend in Idaho. Addie found something to do to occupy her time.

Pictures From Grandma

I have finally taken the pictures off my Mom's camera, so this is a span of about 6 months or so.
Here is Addie playing with Molly at Grandma's house.

Addison loves putting her toys in bags, this time she put herself in her bag.

In August we visited Troy and Jamian for Chole's Baptism. Addie and Eliza are pretending to go to sleep.

Addie will wear any shoes that she can get her feet into, this time she is wearing Uncle B's

I believe that this is Thanksgiving but I am not sure. Here is Addie and Quinn having some fun friend time spinning in the chair.

Where one little girl will go the other will follow!

Thanksgiving fun! Aaron is giving Eliza a ride on his shoulders he would end up in the bean bag.

Having fun playing UNO.

Addie loves cuddling up with grandma on the couch to get warm or to just read with her.

From a picture above you can see Addie in the bag this time you get to see all her toys in the bag.

This is her CHEESY face, so cute!

Addie and Quinn love spending time with each other. Here they are reading books together.

Addie loves her cousin Bubba and loves giving hugs.
The video on the left is Addie sword fighting with Matt and I while we are playing the Wii. The movie on the right is Addie being Addie and just being a curious child.
