Room redo and some fun Family fun.

When we found out we where having twin boys  we decided that we would move Addie to the smaller room.  As Aaron and I where going through all the stuff in her new room I came across my first time to Disney Land pins.  Addie loved them so much and wanted to have a picture with them.

Addie was such a great helper and jumped at the opportunity to help her Dad paint her brand new door.

Here is what Aaron did to Addie's new closet.  I should have taken a before and after.  The closet has a 9 inches pipe that came up the back right side for the flue on the furnace, so I came up with the idea of cubbies to both cover it up and get the most storage out of a small closet as it's only about 4 feet wide.  Aaron brought it all to reality while Addie and I were up in Idaho.  I wish I had a camera out when we came home for how ecstatic our daughter was with her pink room. After some thought she asked whether we could paint the closet pink also. 

Yep at 17 weeks with twin boys I have a nice little shelf for my milk so I can have my hands free to dip my oreo cookies.   

Aaron sneaked a photo of me at my little bothers game.  Here we are at 18 weeks.  I have finally transitioned over to all my maternity clothes.  

All of the family except Mom, Brandon, and Korey that went to Boise, Idaho to see my little brother Matt play in the State Basketball playoffs.

At each of the games they gave way free chocolate milk.  All three of these kiddos drank at least three each game and we were able to take some back with up to the hotel where they had plenty more. So at the end of the three day weekend these this was probably how many milks they drank.  What can you say...we got milk.  

Catch Up Plus our Family News

Addie is my little shopping buddy.  Here we are at Lowes looking for our master bathroom vanity and faucet.  I will have to update later on our bathroom progress but it will probably happen when it is finished.  All we need to do is finish the shower, so hopefully it wont be long. 

 Addie loved helping her Daddy put up the Christmas tree lights and decorating the tree.  To bad I am good starting with taking picture and not getting the last result.

 Addie finally realized who Santa was and she was not afraid to sit on his lap this year.  Still to this day she prays for Santa who is her friend.

One night as Addie was playing on the couch cushions she jumped on one and her momentum carried her right into our rock fireplace and ended up with a big bruise above her eye.    

 Good thing we have the magic healing aid...her princess band aid put a smile back on her cute face.  

 Addie also learned the fun of making snow angels.

 We were excited that Uncle Nate came for Christmas.

 Mom look how strong I am getting.  For Christmas I bought Addie some kitty socks which turned out to be too big, so each day she is proving that she is getting bigger and stronger.

We are glad to introduce our new little ones coming sometime in July.  We are super excited to expand our family and elated on having twins.  We love these two so much already.  Addie also loves them and is getting really excited about moving rooms and is already wanting to put the baby beds up.  Addie is also excited on decorating her new room and is getting ready to choose her wall paint color.  Just to let you all know it will be PINK! 

Hair Be Gone!

 So I have a little story for you.  Back in college as a gag to my family I put on a wig (above, and not so good looking) and sent the picture to all my family and said that I chopped off my hair and donated my hair to locks of love.  Ya not my best moment, they thought I had done this awesome thing and I had not.  The good news was that they were excited that I did not have a bad haircut.  So fast forward some years; I still have that thought that I need to donate to this great cause of lock of love.  These last couple of weeks my hair has been driving me crazy and has been so heavy so I told Aaron and he reminded me that I have always wanted to donate and that it was just hair and if I did not like it, it would grow back. So I decided just to do it.

Summer Business

We had so much fun going to the the famous Preston parade and rodeo. 

Aaron turned a very handsome 31 this year.  We had so much fun celebrating with family. 

For about three weeks straight I dressed something like this while we raked, tilled, raked, trenched, removed dirt out the trenchs, installed a sprinkler systems, raked and raked some more.  Then we finally planted and are enjoying the grass as it grows and thickens.  Next summer we will be having lots of family parties and fun out there. 

We very much love reading time together.  

The beginning of what was suppose to be a 70 mile ride but we only accomplished 50.

Thank goodness for my brothers that kept me on my bike 99% of the time and helped me when I fell off.  

Note to self- next time you are going up a sandy, rocky hill stay on your bike, don't fall off onto a pile of rocks.  Those rocks are very very hard and you will end up very bruised.  

Addie loves going for rides with mom and dad.  We probably spent 30 minutes just going around the parking lot having fun giving her dad high fives.  

After 3.5 years we have finally decided on a color and have stained our beam.  

What do you get when you have a girl with a love of wood + pinterest + home depot = a week full of fun and a wall that looks so much better.   

End Product!

Aaron's coworker was so awesome and gave Aaron a week in Park City at his condo.  Tyson, Becca, Quinn, and Mac were able to come up and join in on the fun.
